Serving over 11,000 University of Pittsburgh alumni in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, the Chesapeake And Potomac Pitt Club is recognized as the largest and most active club affiliated with the national Pitt Alumni Association. Our Pittsburgh experience connects all of us in a very special way, so we hope you will use this Website as a means to keep that connection alive here in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland.

We are pleased to announce that the Chesapeake and Potomac Pitt Club has not only once again achieved Gold Banner Status, but has been named the Pitt Alumni Association Club of the Year for 2009! For this honor, we have received $1000 from the University to contribute to our Endowed Scholarship Fund. Through the Banner Program, clubs and councils focus on annual service through activities that support the four strategic directions of the Pitt Alumni Association. Criteria for the award included the completion of the annual requirements, plus one activity in each of the following categories: Financial Strength, Communications, Student Involvement, and Partnerships.

We want to thank you for your continued dedication to the Chesapeake and Potomac Pitt Club. Your support has once again allowed our Club to be one of the strongest and most active Clubs within the organization.
