Message from the President
The Chesapeake and Potomac Pitt Club was established in 1990 with a mission to support the University of Pittsburgh and enrich the lives of alumni, specifically those that live in the metropolitan Capitol region spanning from the eastern shores of the Chesapeake Bay to the western outlay of the Potomac River. We continue to successfully carry out this mission by fostering close cooperation between the Club and the Pitt Alumni Association, providing opportunities for fellowship among our members, and promoting a spirit of cooperation and loyalty among alumni and friends of the University of Pittsburgh.
The Chesapeake and Potomac Pitt Club annually receives a "Gold Banner" designation from the Pitt Alumni Association and takes pride in being the most active Pitt Alumni Club in the country. The Club averages two events per month, including career networking opportunities, social events, intramural sports, faculty speakers and community service projects, as well as providing scholarships for local students attending Pitt. Our Club truly offers something for everyone!
You do not have to be an alumnus of the University to join the Club -- anyone is welcome! Invite your friends and family to join today, and come see why the Chesapeake and Potomac Pitt Club is the best in the country. Your membership dollars directly support our operating expenses and allow us to give back to alumni and strengthen our connections with the Pitt family.
Hail to Pitt!
