the Titans.” The
preseason buzz
in the Big East
is focused on
Pitt and
Georgetown, who
are ranked #1
and #2,
respectively. On
the national
scene, Pitt
begins the
season as the #4
ranked team in
the country
while Georgetown
comes in at #8.
The script is
ready and the
stage is set
with the bright
lights of a
nationally-televised
audience tuning
in on CBS. All
that is missing
is the Pitt
faithful to do
their part in
cheering the
Panthers on to
victory.

tickets for the
game. Please
note:
due to
Georgetown’s
season ticket
demands, only a
small amount of
lower level
seats are
available.

PRE-GAME
FESTIVITIES:
Join fellow Pitt
alumni and fans
for a spirited
pre-game
gathering hosted
by the
Chesapeake and
Potomac Pitt
Club at the
Dewar’s 12
Clubhouse,
located inside
the Verizon
Center. The Club
has arranged for
drink specials
and an
assortment of
lunch items
including
focaccia
sandwiches,
pasta salad and
fresh fruit. In
addition to the
food and
revelry, we will
be giving away
door prizes
featuring Pitt
merchandise and
hope to again
have a guest
speaker in
attendance.
You
must have
a game ticket to
gain access to
the Dewar’s
Club.
